Hi everyone. I'm writing this entry coming from a very delicate time in my and my family's life. I'm not ready to go into details, but the main message I want to get across is that I am believing God is in control and he is Love. I am so thankful that I have Him in the life of me and my family.

Although I won't go into detail, things came to a head last Tuesday, June 16. Since that time, the Lord has been at work in me. I've been praying non-stop it seems like. And God is answering ... in His time of course. I've been meditating on I Peter, Luke 12:34, and the idea of "marriage to Christ." I've also been given a homework assignment by our Love INC counselor to memorize Psalm 119:11 and James 4:7-8.

I'm also fasting from food and TV for the first time in my life. God has really blessed these past 4 days. It's amazing when you take food and TV out of life, how much time there is ... to pray and read His Word. And His Word is speaking strongly into my life.

What he's speaking to me most clearly is that He has a plan for me and my family. That He created marriage and that he will hold us men accountable for the vows made before Him. He's giving me wisdom when I speak. He's giving me a clear mind. And I know that I can truly cast my cares on Him and he will bring peace and comfort to my soul. He says, "My yoke is easy and My burden is light." (Matthew 11:30).

I am praising the God that I serve, His Son, and the Spirit that is inside me.

On a much lighter note, I changed my blog design. My desire is to use this blog to share how God is working in my life. I hope you are blessed. More to come ...
