Last weekend I was blessed to be able to take the weekend OFF! WooHOO! I went on the MAF ladies retreat at The Ashley Inn (www.theashleyinn.com)in Cascade Idaho. Cascade and the drive there was beautiful. I was really excited to go on the trip but a bit nervous at the same time. It would be my first time away from Faith and she is a very....lets say "on demand nurser". Lance assured me that things would be fine and not to worry! Needless to say He did an amazing job and with me out of sight Faith was almost a perfect angel

I roomed with 5 girls: Danielle Trempert, Jodi Richards, Pam Hucklebridge, Shelley Turley and Jen Edgerton. It was a blast to be in a room full of ladies...some I knew and some I enjoyed getting to know! We had a great speaker Yvonne Turnbull who spoke on "When things don't go as planned". I had hoped to get 2 blissful nights of uninterupted sleep...didn't happen! I guess it's the new bed/pillow and sharing a bed with someone who isn't your husband and doesn't want you to cuddle them or maybe my body is so used to waking to nurse a couple times a night that it woke up just BECAUSE!
