It's hard to believe that half the "summer" is almost over. It was WONDERFUL to have all the kids and grandkids here...except Josh. Hopefully we can get him here with everyone one of these days! But it's pretty important that he's back in TN to fight fires! We've been trying to get over to Camp of the Woods for the great chapel services. The music is such a blessing and the speakers are right on target. We've gotten to connect with old friends which is always fun. We've only done two kayak trips. Maybe someday we can retire and do fun things more often!! Richard's dad will have heart surgery at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN on August 28 so we're going out there. Please pray that the surgery will go well! We hope to see Sandy, Luke and the kids on the way out. Last Sunday Richard shared about MAF at the Methodist Church in Ames, NY where Campbell Laker (who used to be in Speculator) is the Pastor. Harmony, a Speculator singing group sang too. It was a great time.
