Greetings to all since it's almost Fall.
Yes, the leaves are beginning their transformation; myriads of tints, dyes and glorious blushes of reds, oranges and yellows appear in the Adirondacks. The days end more abruptly as the chill penetrates our ever-increasing layers of clothes. Even the autumn rains bequeath their impact: ushered in with every kind of wind from a gentle kiss to a whack across one’s mug. Last week sunny, blue skies watched over us as we paddled our kayaks down the Sacandaga River with nary a ripple on the water. Today whitecaps engulf Lake Pleasant and its tributaries as the constant drip, drip, drip of water falls from the gray, cloudy overcast. How satisfying it is to cozy up to the warmth of a fireplace, enveloped in bushy napped blanket while perusing an inspiring tome or even our precious Bible. Our prayer is that you will unearth much joy and inspiration during this season of transformation.
