It started with the milk. Who poured it and who did it belong to? Then no one sat in their usual spot which was too much for us to handle. Mom had made spaghetti for dinner to keep things simple but with 3 girls under 3, two babies, two grandparents, one great-grandmother and 5 parents, a simple dinner was too much to ask for. Everyone was making cutting comments and snide remarks until we looked over at Grant (who is now 10 months old) and he broke the tension with his blue bowl. He put his entire face into it trying desperately to get his mini pieces of spaghetti out. Everyone started laughing... what a relief!

We've been in Speculator, NY visiting my parents for the past few days. We drove here in my sister, Bonnie's green Odyssey along with her two-year old daughter, Avery. We visit about twice a year, once in the summer and once at Christmas time. It is so beautiful here on Lake Pleasant and it's great having people help out with the kids.
