As seen in Katrina's blog, Joel (my bro) and Natalie (his wife) came to visit us a few weeks ago. We had a great time and even did a cool project. See Katrina's blog for some info and pics on the visit. I'm going to focus on the new addition to our kitchen.

As an intro, check out this entry I made back in the summer; particularly the part about the corner cabinet unit. Well, I did, what I would call, a shady job on that particular project. I didn't quite plan it right, so I wasn't able to easily put a counter top on it. We decided, instead of trying to get it to work, to just buy another cabinet and put it in. So here's a before picture (I took this a long time ago):

There was one casualty of the project ... and it was not accidental. Which, I guess that means it was murder? Here it is (obviously the one on the left is the casualty):
